Barista/Cashier

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. This is at the new Boulevard Food Hall located inside Hollywood Casino. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a welcoming and delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately using the Toast POS system, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling safety standards. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks. Requirements Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of food handling practices. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a busy setting. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
