Job Overview Join our vibrant café team as a passionate and energetic Barista! In this dynamic role, you'll be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality coffee and beverages. As a key contributor to our café's success, you'll manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience from the moment they walk in. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, sales, and customer engagement in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems for order processing Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently while maintaining high standards of service Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Experience Previous barista experience or background working in a café or food service environment is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations Experience in serving or retail environments that require multitasking and quick thinking is beneficial Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating delightful experiences through exceptional coffee craftsmanship and friendly service.
