Job Summary Join our vibrant team as an Ice Cream Scooper, where your enthusiasm and customer service skills will create memorable experiences for our guests! In this lively role, you'll be the face of our fun and fast-paced ice cream shop, serving up delicious treats with a smile. Your primary focus will be providing exceptional service, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and ensuring every guest leaves happy and satisfied. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings. Operate Toast POS systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments. Scoop ice cream accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards. Upsell additional toppings, specialty items, or combo deals to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including sanitizing scoops, utensils, counters, and seating areas in accordance with food safety regulations. Manage food preparation tasks such as portioning ingredients and preparing cones or cups quickly during busy hours. Support other team members with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or serving in quick service or fast-food restaurants. Familiarity with Toast POS system for efficient cashiering. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper kitchen hygiene practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
