Position Summary We're seeking a passionate and reliable Barista to join our team! In this role, you'll craft high-quality beverages and food items while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced café environment. You'll support daily operations by preparing drinks and bakery items, maintaining cleanliness, and engaging warmly with customers. Your contribution will help create a welcoming atmosphere and uphold our commitment to excellence—one cup at a time. Availability Requirements Must have weekend availability Must be available to work weekday shifts: 6:00 AM-12:00 PM or 12:00 PM-7:00 PM No seasonal positions available Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and food items according to standard recipes Label and package bagged coffee for retail and wholesale Maintain cleanliness of café equipment and facilities Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with and understanding customer needs Handle cash and operate POS systems accurately and efficiently Ensure compliance with all store operating policies and food safety standards Adapt to various tasks during shifts, including opening, mid, and closing duties Follow written and verbal instructions and seek clarification when needed Promote a positive team environment and help resolve customer issues effectively Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships Previous barista or café experience is a plus but not required
