Job Summary Expenses required Join our vibrant coffee shop team and become a vital part of creating memorable experiences for every guest! As a Coffee Shop Associate, you will be the friendly face behind the counter, expertly preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and light snacks with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed Ensure the café environment remains inviting by restocking supplies, cleaning work areas, and organizing displays Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service within the food industry Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Effective time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced café or retail environment Join us to craft exceptional coffee experiences while honing your skills in a dynamic setting!
