Overview Join our team as a Boba Tea Barista and bring your passion for exceptional service and Asian cuisine to life! In this energetic role, you will craft delicious teas, build sushi bowls, provide outstanding customer experiences, and ensure our restaurant runs smoothly. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and excited to return. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage preparation, retail sales transactions, and customer service within a lively café setting. Duties Prepare a variety of drinks, poke/sushi bowls, and other menu items with precision and care Operate POS systems to process sales efficiently and accurately Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing recommendations Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in cash handling Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials to ensure smooth daily operations Follow food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and ensure high-quality beverage preparation Qualifications No previous experience needed, café or food industry experience is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and measuring ingredients accurately Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Must be at least 17 years of age Join us on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable customer experiences!
