Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Handle retail sales transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, processing cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or beverage options, and provide excellent customer service. Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure all food handling procedures meet safety regulations. Support food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed. Follow proper cash handling procedures during cashiering duties while maintaining a friendly attitude throughout interactions. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service background preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Proficiency in using POS systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
