Overview Brand new coffee shop seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant café team! As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality coffee and beverage products. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will ensure that every guest leaves with a smile and a great experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and manage payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times. Assist customers with product recommendations and answer any questions they may have about the menu. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management as necessary. Requirements Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts. Experience in food safety practices is preferred to maintain high hygiene standards. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash accurately. A friendly demeanor with a willingness to help others in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a café or retail setting is advantageous but not required.
