Central Perk, inspired by the legendary FRIENDS hang-out, is a modern-day coffeehouse on Newbury St. in the historic Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, MA. We are seeking counter staff and baristas to join and grow with our team. With a menu that boasts a wide variety of tasty coffee and food options, in a setting that is modern yet reminiscent of the familiar coffeehouse from the beloved TV show, the soul of Central Perk remains intact, promising an unparalleled dining and coffee experience for locals and visitors alike.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers with consistent, welcoming, and engaging customer service. Prepare pastry orders, coffee, and espresso drinks. Perform cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and orderly dining and service area. Set up the dining area and service counter before daily opening. Process guest orders and payments. Prep ingredients for specialty beverages according to recipes. Stock and serve food items to guests and run food to tables. Operate coffee/espresso machines and perform daily preventative maintenance. Adhere to health and safety standards. Provide exceptional guest service.

Qualifications:

Experience in the customer service or hospitality industry is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods. Availability for at least 3-4 shifts a week. Enthusiastic, hardworking, and eager to learn. Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced team environment. Comfortable with cash handling and maintaining store safety.
