Barista/cashier

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, cortados, customed drinks
• Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register and touch bistro POS system
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations. The applicant must be conformable in talking to customers and create a sense of ease.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating area
• Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
• Assist with assembling of boxes, teas, coffee
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.

Experience:

• Experience as a barista of at least one year is needed in order to apply for this position
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
• Familiarity with POS
• Basic math skills for retail transactions and inventory management
• Passion for coffee and strong knowledge of different coffee brewing methods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
