Looking for experienced Cafe Help / Baristas to join our awesome team! Looking for experienced cafe help / barista capable of working in a fast paced cafe environment, whose expertise and knowledge will add value to our team. The Barista position also contributes to other roles within the cafe to ensure smooth daily operations. All team members will support the overall operations of the café. We are looking for responsible, hard-working and positive-minded individuals to join our team. This can be a fast-paced, active environment. The ability to quickly multi-task while maintaining composure and a high standard of operations is essential. Related experience is preferred but a good work ethic and great attitude are required! Employees also make good tips - gratuity not included in listed pay rate! Responsibilities Greet customers as they enter Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios) Prepare beverages following recipes Serve beverages and prepared food Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) Keep the cafe area clean Maintain stock of items Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs Comply with health and safety regulations Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items Skills Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress Hands-on barista experience a plus Knowledge of sanitation regulations Flexibility to work various shifts Basic math skills Ability to gauge customers' preferences Excellent communication skills High school diploma; relevant training is a plus
