Job Description
We are looking to add a part time and full time barista to our Ipswich, MA café team! The barista position is the first point of contact at Little Wolf and sets the tone for the experience at the café. At Little Wolf, we prioritize friendly service and tasty drinks with the hopes that each customer leaves happier than when they came in. The duties for this role are diverse but the job boils down to being kind, enjoying engaging and serving customers in a fast pace environment, feel comfortable cleaning and being knowledgeable about the Little Wolf menu, products and coffee. Barista experience not required; we would love to help with that but the rest has to come from you! Qualifications (I have…) Genuine desire to leave people happier than when they arrived. Ability to multitask and operate with energy and urgency 6-8 hours a day. Professionalism when interacting with guests and team members. Clear and open communication skills. Willingness to accept feedback, learn new skills and grow. Ability to adapt and be flexible when situations change. Desire to grow community and share the things you love with it. Desire to be part of a team that works hard because we love what we do. Availability to work weekends. A Serv Safe Manager Certificate and Choking Certificate or the willingness to attain one within 30 days. (we will help with this) Duties (I am responsible for…) Greeting each customer in a friendly and courteous way. Directing guests towards menu, coffee selection and line queue. Making every guest feel special. Accurate register operations and cash handling. Cleaning, bussing, staging and organizing the café to maintain a clean and energetic environment. Taking orders from customers, making their drinks and serving those drinks when needed. Completing all daily tasks every shift to completion, including Opening and Closing responsibilities.
