Dragonfly Cafe is a fairly new cafe in Lowell Massachusetts in a beautifully renovated mill building. Our cafe focuses on high-quality ingredients and is a scratch kitchen to ensure we are giving our customers food that is rejuvenating. At Dragonfly Cafe our Front of House will be serving specialty coffees, smoothies, espresso, teas, and an array of other beverages to our community. We've also added a bar with specialty cocktails. At Dragonfly Cafe we want to deliver exceptional service and uphold the highest standards in food & drink quality. The primary responsibility is to prepare and make not only the hot and cold drinks but also the ingredients that go into them for daily service. They will also cross-train for the needs of the team whether it is for POS, kitchen, or customer service.

Activities & Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. Prepare and serve smoothie & smoothie bowls. Take alcohol orders and make cocktails Take customers orders at the registers. Take daily inventories of raw goods and paper products. Execute on and complete daily checklists for open, close, and other miscellaneous tasks. Attentively follow recipes, portions, quality standards, policies, procedures and best practices. Clean and sanitize of all equipment and surfaces according to policy. Wash dishes as needed. Learn extensive knowledge on allergies, ingredients, and the health benefits of our food. Describe menu items and suggesting products to customers. Learn and grow Dragonfly's coffee & smoothie knowledge for our customer base. Clean service and seating areas. Routinely take and record temperature of drink storage areas, such as refrigerators and freezers. Remove trash, recycling, compost and clean all containers. Carry food/drink supplies, equipment, and utensils to and from storage and work areas. Use manual or electric appliances to make, mix, blend, steam, and pour drinks. Attend all scheduled team meetings and actively engage to improve our cafe and team. Coordinate with and assist fellow team members to meet customers needs.
