Hot Dog Vendor/Sales Associate Tex Barry's Taunton We are a small locally owned business that has been a staple in downtown Taunton for over 60 years. We are looking for a few high quality people to join our team. You'll be working in an high energy, positive, inclusive and fast paced environment. We are looking for a reliable person, with interest in learning about the food industry.

Salary:

$15 per hour (plus tips averaging $17-22 with tips a day.)

Hours:

Monday-Friday 10:30AM-3:30PM with possible Saturdays as needed. Qualifications Strong customer service skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry Knowledge of POS systems and food handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with food safety regulations Basic math skills for handling transactions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Certification in food safety or willingness to obtain one

Uniform:

Must wear uniform of shirt, hat and black pants. Shirt and hat will be provided.

Skills:

Maintain high standards of customer service during high-volume, fast-paced operations, Communicate clearly and positively with coworkers and management, Handle currency and credit transactions quickly and accurately Follow procedures for safe food preparation, assembly, and presentation Assist management with inventory control and stock ordering Take initiative to find extra tasks when scheduled duties were completed
