Barista (Part-Time)

Executive Perk is a brand-new specialty coffee bar located inside the National Institutes of Health (NIH). We are a small, tight-knit team offering high-quality coffee, excellent service, and a great work environment. As we grow, we're looking for friendly, reliable baristas who want to grow with us. Shifts include opening and closing . Weekends off. Pay $16-$17 per hour Job Responsibilities Prepare high-quality espresso and coffee beverages using our Schaerer espresso machine Prep beverage ingredients, pastries, and simple breakfast/lunch items Operate the Square POS register accurately and efficiently Provide friendly, professional customer service to NIH staff and visitors Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards Stock, rotate, and manage inventory Assist with catering orders and bulk beverage requests Follow all Executive Perk Standard Operating Procedures Requirements Previous barista experience preferred , but not required Must pass the NIH background check (required for building access) Must complete ServSafe Food Handler Certification (company-provided) 18+ years old Strong communication and customer service skills Reliability and a positive attitude — we're a small team and depend on each other About Us Executive Perk is a brand-new coffee concept located within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) , serving high-quality beverages and grab-and-go items to staff, researchers, and visitors.
