Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems like Toast to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage stations, and seating areas, following food safety standards Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions with accuracy and managing change confidently Restock supplies regularly to ensure smooth service flow and optimal product availability Follow food safety procedures during food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality and compliance Requirements Previous barista or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation and beverage service is a plus Experience with POS systems such as Toast is desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing Knowledge of food handling safety standards and food industry best practices Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties as needed Food service experience including serving beverages and food preparation is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable experiences!
