Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies with precision and care Weekend availability a PLUS Operate our Square POS system to process transactions efficiently and accurately Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and beverage recommendations Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment to ensure food safety standards are met Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using retail math skills Assist with food handling and basic food preparation to support café operations Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards Requirements Previous barista experience or food service experience is not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail transactions accurately Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours A positive attitude with enthusiasm for creating welcoming environments for guests
