This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Greet customers warmly, taking orders with enthusiasm and providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments and giving accurate change using cash handling best practices Restock supplies regularly to ensure smooth beverage preparation and retail operations Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met Experience Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food handling procedures, beverage preparation techniques, and food safety regulations is a plus Experience in retail sales transactions or café environments will help you thrive in this role Join us as a Barista and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering top-notch coffee experiences!
