Job Description
Job Summary We're on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Barista to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, crafting delicious coffee beverages and providing top-notch customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and satisfied. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using espresso machines and other equipment. Take customer orders accurately, process transactions efficiently using POS systems, and handle cash or card payments with care. Maintain cleanliness and organization, including food handling and food safety practices. Assist in food preparation and food service tasks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answer questions about menu items, and promote sales of featured products. Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling, cashiering, and general operations. Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude. Good basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing transactions accurately. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
