Barista

We're looking for a positive and upbeat barista to join our team! A successful Barista has good attention to detail with great communication skills, ability to handle food properly and also memorize drink recipes while catering to customizations. Responsibilities Greet customers as they enter Answer questions regarding items Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios) Prepare beverages following recipes Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries, etc Ring up customer totals / process payments Keep the coffee bar area clean Clean brewing equipment and report any maintenance needs Comply with health and safety regulations Stock merchandise as needed Requirements and skills Previous work experience as a Barista preferred, but not required. Must have excellent customer service skills Flexibility to work various shifts. Must be willing to work holidays. Basic math skills Excellent communication skills Relevant training is a plus
