We have been serving Northfield since 1991 and always strive to provide an experience where our customers, employees, and community members feel welcomed and valued. Our baristas are the first and last point of contact and a key element in forming a customer's initial impression of the shop. We set the tone for the customer's entire experience and our priority is to always set an amazing one. Goodbye Blue Monday Barista responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders on our Square POS system, crafting a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and specialty drinks, educating customers on our menu, making recommendations based on the customer's preferences, collaborating effectively with other team members, and keeping the facility clean and stocked. To be successful in this role, our baristas should have excellent customer service skills, knowledge of brewing methods and specialty drinks, and a motivation to keep the store clean and presentable. Our baristas arrive on time, ready to work, and have a range of available hours, including weekends. We will have approximately 2-3 positions available with hours ranging from 10-35 hours per week. Positions will start immediately with a 6 mo commitment preferred. MUST have a flexible schedule. Hours worked are between 6am-9pm until June 20 and 6am-7pm for the summer.
