Join us in delivering the perfect cup of coffee and making every visit special! What you'll do Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and flair. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café, adhering to food safety standards during food preparation and service. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining quality. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and helping with ordering supplies as needed. Uphold high standards of food handling practices to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and enthusiasm. Basic qualifications Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred but not required; we're excited to train passionate individuals! Ability to work up to 5:30 PM Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that makes customers feel valued. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Preferred qualifications Experience in the food industry, particularly in food service or preparation roles. Familiarity with Toast is a plus! Time management skills that allow you to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
