Overview Join our vibrant team as a Barista Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator behind the counter! In this dynamic role, you'll craft delicious non-alcoholic beverages, handle retail sales transactions with precision, and deliver exceptional customer service that keeps guests coming back. Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems such as Square to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle retail transactions, including cash handling, processing payments, giving change, and issuing receipts with precision Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and serve beverages with enthusiasm and professionalism Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, counters, equipment, and seating areas Ensure food safety standards are upheld during food preparation and beverage service Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus Proficiency in POS systems such as Square is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the food industry while providing outstanding service.
