Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Beverage Crafting Greet customers with warmth and professionalism Take orders accurately and efficiently Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and specialty creations Assist customers with menu knowledge and recommendations Ensure all beverages meet Scooter's quality and presentation standards Store Operations Perform opening and closing duties as assigned Operate the POS system accurately Handle cash transactions with accuracy and basic retail math skills Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized café environment Follow all food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures Assist with food preparation and timely delivery of orders Stock and replenish inventory including food, beverages, and utensils Receive, unload, and distribute deliveries Communicate inventory shortages or operational needs to leadership Support team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous barista or coffee experience preferred, but not required Strong passion for coffee and customer service Familiarity with POS systems Excellent time management skills, especially during busy periods Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Dependable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude Skills & Attributes Professional and tactful communication with customers and coworkers Ability to work efficiently under pressure Strong attention to detail Reliable, responsible, and committed to high-quality service Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace Enthusiastic, friendly, and eager to learn Why Join Us?
