Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring each is crafted to high standards of quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items or dietary preferences Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, equipment sanitation, and general tidiness in accordance with food safety standards Manage cash handling duties by processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed diligently Hiring and staffing shifts Support team members during busy periods by managing serving and beverage service efficiently while demonstrating excellent time management skills Requirements Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests Knowledge of food handling procedures, beverage preparation, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light cleaning duties, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire is desirable Join us in creating delightful coffee experiences while developing your skills in a supportive team environment!
