Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages and providing exceptional service to our customers. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Engage with customers to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and products. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
