Overview Join our vibrant team as a Cafe Barista and bring your passion for coffee and customer service to life! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty coffees, following established recipes and presentation standards Engage with customers in a friendly, positive manner, providing excellent service and answering questions about menu items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including coffee machines, counters, and seating areas Handle cash register operations accurately, process transactions efficiently, and give correct change Restock supplies such as cups, lids, napkins, syrups, and other essentials to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales goals and uphold high standards of quality and service Skills Strong communication skills with a warm, approachable demeanor Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation (training provided if needed) Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards colleagues and customers Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to multitask effectively while staying organized under pressure Prior experience in customer service or food/beverage industry is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Embark on an exciting journey where every day brings new opportunities to connect with people over great coffee.
