Barista Cashier

Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items following established recipes and safety standards. Handle cash register operations efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas, adhering to food safety and handling protocols. Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers quickly while maintaining quality standards. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness to ensure a smooth operation. Qualifications Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques preferred. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Familiarity with food industry practices including serving, food prep, and retail operations is a plus.
