Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Handle retail sales transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, processing cash, credit cards, and mobile payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, seating areas, and equipment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and responding to inquiries with enthusiasm. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling baked goods or light snacks as needed. Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic drink preparation. Experience with POS systems for retail transactions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper cleaning procedures in a food industry setting.
