We're growing fast, and we're looking for team members who want to grow with us. The Role As a Front of House (FOH) team member, you'll be the face of Isaac's Bagels. You'll rotate between cashier, barista, and expo responsibilities, ensuring every customer leaves with incredible food, a great experience, and a reason to come back. You'll also pick up skills in the back of house, such as making and wrapping sandwiches. Responsibilities Cashier Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately Answer customer questions about our menu and products Fulfill pastry and loose bagel orders Prepare drip coffee and serve it to guests Count your drawer at the end of your shift Prepare and maintain farmers market point-of-sale equipment Barista Prepare espresso drinks and beverages to our high standards Adjust espresso machine settings as needed to maintain quality Maintain a clean, organized barista station Prepare syrups, flavorings, and in-house beverages (chai, agua fresca, cold brew, iced tea) Prepare and package drinks for farmers markets and catering Expo Fulfill customer orders promptly and accurately Communicate with the kitchen to ensure timely service Ensure every order is complete, correct, and beautifully presented Maintain inventory of packaging and FOH fridges Assemble and organize catering orders Answer the shop phone professionally and knowledgeably General Open and close the shop following detailed checklists Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment Take ownership of customer issues, operations hiccups, and equipment problems: Solve problems independently when appropriate Escalate thoughtfully when needed Track and log waste Regularly wipe down surfaces, sweep, scrub, and mop floors Deep clean areas as needed Cross-train in the kitchen on key sandwich making stations What We're Looking For A positive, professional attitude — even during busy rushes Pride in doing things the right way, not the easy way Strong attention to detail and consistency Comfort working at a fast pace while maintaining quality Good communication skills with both customers and teammates Comfort adjusting espresso equipment (we'll teach you if needed) A willingness to jump in wherever needed — cashier, barista, expo, cleaning Problem-solving mindset: you don't stand around waiting for direction Why Work With Us?
