Barista Cashier

Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with a lively, positive attitude Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items following established recipes and standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions, perform cashier duties, and manage cash handling with precision using retail math skills Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to proper food handling procedures Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic food handling and serving to ensure quality presentation Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards Requirements Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably within the café environment, and lift light objects as needed A passion for coffee, serving others, and creating a welcoming café atmosphere Join us if you're eager to bring your energy and passion for service into a fast-paced environment where every day offers new opportunities to connect with people over great coffee!
