Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling stations to adhere to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate change distribution. Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
