Previous barista expereince is preferred as we are a high-volume shop. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality espresso beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and café menu items to recipe standards Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth, efficiency, and professionalism Accurately take guest orders and process transactions through the Toast POS system Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and café environment Support opening and closing procedures Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards Assist with dishwashing, bussing, and general café upkeep as needed Work collaboratively with team members during high-volume rushes Build rapport with regular guests and contribute to a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere

Qualifications Preferred:

Previous barista, café, restaurant, or hospitality experience Experience operating espresso machines and coffee grinders Cash handling / POS experience (Toast) Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and drink building Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to: Stand for extended periods Lift up to 25-40 lbs Work early mornings, weekends, and some holidays Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Ideal Candidate You are: Friendly, approachable, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people Reliable and punctual Coachable and eager to learn Calm under pressure Detail-oriented and task-oriented Passionate about hospitality, coffee, and community Perks Flexible scheduling Employee discounts / shift drinks Tip opportunities Growth opportunities within the company Kind team-oriented work environment Full time benefits
