Event Lead Barista Raleigh/Durham/Cary, NCPart-Time | Event-Based | Hourly Pay + TipsWho We AreCamino Coffee Cart is a Raleigh-based coffee catering company bringing specialty coffee and genuine hospitality to corporate events, weddings, concerts, and brand activations.

THE ROLEAs an Event Lead, you re responsible for bringing the Camino experience to life from start to finish. You ll load and safely transport our coffee cart, lead setup and breakdown, serve specialty coffee, care for our clients and their guests, and make sure every event runs smoothly.

This role is equal parts barista, event professional, driver, and hospitality lead.

DOSafely load, transport, unload, set up, and break down our mobile coffee carts and equipmentLead events independently and ensure everything is ready before service beginsPrepare consistently excellent espresso drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, chai, and hot chocolateCreate genuine, welcoming interactions with clients and their guestsMaintain a clean, organized, and beautiful coffee cart throughout the eventWork efficiently during high-volume service without sacrificing quality or hospitalityCommunicate professionally with clients, venue staff, and the Camino teamProblem-solve and adapt when event logistics changeProperly clean, pack, and return all equipment to the warehouse after eventsRepresent Camino Coffee Cart with professionalism, warmth, and care everywhere we go

genuinely hospitable person who enjoys serving and connecting with peopleReliable, punctual, organized, and comfortable working independentlyBarista or specialty coffee experience is preferred, but we re willing to train the right personComfortable learning espresso preparation, milk steaming, and latte artConfident driving a Ford Transit 250 Low Roof and transporting equipmentAble to stay calm and adaptable in fast-moving event environmentsStrong communication and attention to detailFlexible availability our events may include early mornings, evenings, weekdays, and weekendsValid and clean driver s license and reliable transportation to our Raleigh warehouse
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is an active, hands-on position. Event Leads must be comfortable standing for extended periods and regularly lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving heavy equipment. You ll help load and unload coffee carts, espresso machines, coolers, ramps, and event supplies.

Must be able to safely lift approximately 65 lbs.
