Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring their satisfaction with every visit. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system for order processing and payment transactions. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils used in food preparation. Handle food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Engage with customers to create a friendly environment, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and other products while minimizing waste. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Skills Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage crafting. Experience in the food industry is preferred, with familiarity in food preparation processes. Proficiency in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and sales calculations. Ability to operate POS systems effectively Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Sales skills to promote products effectively and enhance customer experience. Attention to detail to ensure quality in beverage preparation and presentation.
