Job Overview Join our vibrant café team as a Barista, where your energy and passion for coffee will create memorable experiences for every guest. In this dynamic role, you'll be the friendly face behind the counter, expertly preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and handling standards Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding experience Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Uphold food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Experience Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and food handling practices Ability to perform retail math including cash handling, sales calculations, and basic math operations Experience in the food industry or café environment is a plus Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to creating exceptional coffee experiences while honing your skills in a lively, supportive atmosphere.
