Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and passionate Cashier to join our café team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will provide exceptional service by preparing quality beverages, handling customer transactions, and maintaining a welcoming café environment. Your role is key in ensuring every guest enjoys a positive and memorable coffee experience. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and accurately process customer transactions using POS systems. Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and answer questions about menu items and ingredients. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café environment, including the service counter, condiment bar, and seating areas. Handle cash and card transactions responsibly, following company policies for accuracy and security. Demonstrate product knowledge by recommending beverages or menu items to enhance the customer experience. Assist in receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness and availability of ingredients and supplies. Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards. Work collaboratively with team members to provide a smooth and efficient service experience. Experience Previous experience as a barista, café server, or cashier is preferred but not required — training will be provided. Familiarity with espresso machines and POS systems is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Join Our Team!
