Barista

At Turquoise Bakery and Cafe we provide our customers with a great selection of specialty hot and cold tea and coffee beverages to compliment our baked goods on the go or to stay and dine-in. We are looking for someone who is passionate about coffee with a great attitude and friendly personality to provide our customers with a great experience each time they order one of our drinks. We'd love to have you, an experienced barista who can deliver excellent products and even better service, join our team. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on preferences
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and front of house dining area
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Assist with food preparation as needed
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction Skills
• Previous experience in a barista role, manually preparing espresso and steaming milk, is required
• Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different coffee beans, brewing methods, etc.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
• Experience with cash handling in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with the food industry and its trends
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
