THE ROLE
Our Front of House team members create exceptional guest experiences through genuine hospitality. Counter Team Members welcome guests, share knowledge of our handcrafted food and beverages, operate the point-of-sale system, and help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome guests with warm, genuine hospitality and provide exceptional customer service Help guests navigate the menu by answering questions and making recommendations Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Tatte's coffee, bakery, and savory offerings Accurately take guest orders using the point-of-sale system Follow all product preparation and packaging standards Deliver food and beverages to guests Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked café stations Support overall café cleanliness and visual brand standards Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Warm, engaging, and welcoming communication skills Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences Desire to help where needed and work as part of a team Commitment to living Tatte's core values and delivering on our mission Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous customer service or café experience is preferred but not required
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS
Strong communication skills to warmly engage with guests and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to grasp and reach overhead Ability to lift, move, and carry 50 pounds or more Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8 or more hours per shift
