Barista

Job Summary Have experience working as a Barista and need some extra money? You've found the place! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care Engage with customers warmly, taking orders and providing friendly, attentive service to enhance their visit Operate POS - Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage retail math for accurate cash handling and register balancing Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety standards Assist in food preparation and serving snacks or light food items as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction Requirements Needs 2+ years of previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred; passion for coffee is essential Work with little/no supervision - Self-starter Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and food preparation standards Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude Reliable availability for flexible part-time hours including mornings and weekends Biligual preferred (English/Spanish) Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS (Preferred not dealbreaker)
