Overview Join our vibrant café team as a Barista and become the heart of an energetic, customer-focused environment! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service Handle food preparation tasks including assembling food items, maintaining food quality, and managing food safety protocols Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations Support the café's daily operations by managing time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods Experience Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and food preparation standards Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Experience in serving or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences while building your skills in a supportive environment!
