Barista

Agnello's is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment, and ensuring that our customers have a positive and memorable experience at Agnello's.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to Agnello's recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and answering any questions about the menu. Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and other related appliances. Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace, ensuring that the café remains tidy and inviting for customers. Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a hygienic work environment. Handle cash and process customer payments using the point-of-sale system. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies, notifying management of low stock levels, and participating in periodic inventory counts. Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive work atmosphere. Continuously improve coffee knowledge and stay current with industry trends and best practices. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Café Manager or other supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a Barista preferred. Knowledge of various coffee brewing methods and techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
