Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair. Handle food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches, pastries, and other light menu items while adhering to food safety standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales transactions. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling stations and seating areas. Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Requirements Previous barista or coffee experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food service roles. A positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
