Palace Ave, Suite 200, Santa Fe, NM Part-time and full-time | $15/hour + tips Job Summary Santa Fe Popcorn is a small, family-owned gourmet popcorn shop and coffee bar in downtown Santa Fe. We're looking for a barista who can run our espresso bar/cafe, work the popcorn counter, and give every customer a phenomenal experience. Because we're a small shop, this person will regularly open and close on their own, so reliability and independence are essential. For the right candidate, there's opportunity to grow into a larger role within the first few months. Responsibilities Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with consistency and care Operate, clean, and maintain the espresso machine and coffee/popcorn bar Open and close the shop independently, following opening/closing procedures, cleaning protocol and cash count logs Serve popcorn from the counter and help customers choose flavors through samples and recommendation Ring up coffee, popcorn, and retail purchases on Square POS and handle cash accurately Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service to locals and visitors alike Keep the shop, counters, and equipment clean and organized, following food safety standards Qualifications Previous barista experience with a commercial espresso machine required Comfortable working solo and confident opening and closing without supervision Punctual and reliable. In a small shop, we count on you to be here on time for every shift.
