Prefer working solo or find team dynamics draining Need constant supervision or motivation to stay on task Get easily flustered in high-pressure situations Struggle to balance quality and speed during busy hours Have difficulty with feedback or adapting to new processes, shifting priorities, or a culture that values constant growth and development Compensation Package Includes Hourly wage, tips, project-based commission Complimentary meal and drinks during shifts Generous PTO package, paid sick leave, paid lunches, paid training A team-centered culture of trust, ownership, autonomy, respect and open communication Responsibilities Coffee Bar (60%) Welcome and engage guests with warmth and professionalism; take orders, offer guidance, and handle customer concerns with care Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages with consistent taste, presentation, and attention to detail Accurately process payments using POS systems (cash and card) with efficiency and accountability Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked—including equipment, counters, and displays Monitor inventory of bar supplies and ingredients; communicate restocking needs proactively Stay current on seasonal menus, promotions, and offerings to make informed recommendations Kitchen (20%) Assist with food order prep and assembly, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency standards are met Support the kitchen team during peak hours by communicating orders clearly and maintaining workflow Help prep food items (e.g. pastries, sandwiches, condiments) following established recipes and guidelines Cleaning & Maintenance (20%) Maintain a clean, sanitary environment through regular dishwashing, surface cleaning, and equipment upkeep Take out trash and recycling regularly; maintain tidy, presentable waste stations Sweep and mop floors as needed to prevent hazards and uphold shop standards Contribute to shop-wide cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere for guests and teammates alike General Comply with health and safety regulations Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications 18 years or older Food Handler Certification (or willingness to get one) Able to lift 15 lbs Basic cooking knowledge and math skills Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Background check required before employment Evergreen Coffee is dedicated to fostering a culture of kindness, mutual respect, integrity, and growth.
