Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety standards. Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions. Assist in food preparation and serving food items according to safety guidelines. Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Experience Previous barista experience or background working in a café or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests. Proven ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy are essential. Knowledge of food handling procedures, serving standards, and food safety regulations is a plus. Experience in the food industry or retail math will support your success in this role.
