The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for coffee. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages, providing exceptional service to our customers, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment. Your ability to manage time effectively while multitasking will be key to your success in this role. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate Heartland (POS) Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards during food preparation and serving. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling, ensuring accurate transactions and change distribution. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while achieving sales goals. Run Food, Handle dishes, Assist where-ever needed Requirements Previous barista experience or a strong background in the food service industry is preferred. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating positive customer experiences. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential.
