Runner/Barista - Harbor Front Inn Lobby Wine Bar (Coming Soon!) The Harbor Front Inn is preparing to debut our new Lobby Wine Bar—a stylish, coastal gathering space where mornings ease into afternoons and evenings come alive. We're looking for a versatile Runner/Barista to support both coffee service and bar operations while helping deliver a seamless guest experience from open to close. Position Overview This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in motion and thrives in a team-driven environment. You'll move between crafting quality coffee beverages, supporting bar service, and ensuring guests receive timely, polished service throughout the space. What You'll Do Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and light café offerings during daytime hours Support bartenders and servers by running food and beverages efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, coffee station, and service areas Assist with opening and closing side work, including stocking and prep Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner while delivering items Help maintain the flow of service during busy summer shifts What We're Looking For Experience in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant support role preferred Basic knowledge of espresso machines and coffee preparation (or willingness to learn) Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Positive attitude and team-first mentality Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Join Us Be part of launching a brand-new concept at the Harbor Front Inn Work in a beautiful waterfront setting in Greenport Competitive pay + tips Opportunity to grow into bar or service roles Supportive, energetic team culture Opening Soon - Hiring Now If you're passionate about hospitality, coffee, and creating great guest experiences, we want to hear from you.
