Job Description
Front Counter Associate Ladybird Deli + Bakery At Ladybird Deli + Bakery, we believe exceptional food deserves exceptional hospitality. We're looking for friendly, energetic, and dependable Front Counter Associates who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and creating memorable experiences for every guest. This is a hands-on position that combines barista responsibilities, food service, customer interaction, and teamwork throughout the bakery and deli. Responsibilities Prepare espresso drinks, coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks Greet guests with a welcoming and positive attitude Take customer orders accurately using the POS system Handle cash, credit card transactions, and end-of-sale customer service Build sandwiches and assist with food preparation at the sandwich station Package pastries, breads, and bakery items for takeout Maintain attractive bakery displays and restock merchandise throughout the day Serve breakfast and lunch guests efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace Assist with cleaning and maintaining the front counter, dining room, and beverage station Work Friday evening Fish Fry dinner service, including serving guests, running food, and providing excellent table service Assist with special events as needed Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Work as part of a team to provide outstanding hospitality Qualifications Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn barista techniques and food preparation Reliable, punctual, and professional Restaurant, café, bakery, or coffee shop experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person. Compensation $10.70 per hour plus tips
