Job Description
Bubble Tea Barista Cuppa Tea LIC Responsibilities:
- Each staff will have a rotating schedule to cover responsibilities both
FOH & BOH
Front of House:
- Greet customers with great spirit and take their orders, offer recommendations.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as fruit tea, milk tea.
- Operate waffle machine
- Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages & snacks by following recipes and standards
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed
- Assist in closing procedure
Back of House:
- Prepare all the toppings, tapiocas, jellies, red beans, taro, etc.
- Prepare all tea bases like black tea, green tea, jasmine tea and rolling the tea to bring out the flavor
- Cut, prepare and organize fresh fruits like lime, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon etc.
- Make to order all hot snacks, like waffle, pineapple bun and curry fish balls
- Ensure the quality and consistency of food by following recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, clean up all pots & pans used.
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed
- Assist in opening procedure
Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in beverage preparation
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with coworkers
- Experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferable:
- Food Handler Certification
- Bilingual
- Chinese/Cantonese/English
- Social Media marketing experience
- Milk Tea shop work experience
